Adam Eckersley (Bluezone) 2008 Ambassador

Goulburn's Australian Blues Music Festival is proud to have as the Festival's official Ambassador for 2008, none other than Newcastle-based guitarist/singer/songwriter Adam Eckersley of multi-award winning blues band Bluezone.

Adam and the boys from The Bluezone were finalists in every catagory of the 2007 Australian Blues Music 'Chain' Awards bar 'Female Vocalist of the Year'. When we pointed this out to Adam he chuckled 'yeah, I'm working on that'. Adding to his haul of Chains for 'Male Vocalist of the Year' and 'Song of the Year', Adam was also named the inaugural Bluestar People's Choice Award for 'Best Australasian Vocalist 2007'.
