A poem by some of our favourite volunteers (2004)
Early in Feb, in 2004.....
Was a weekend of blues - who'd ask for more?
Matt Corcoran and Ragweed, and Harper did play,
Lloyd Spiegel, The Blinders - what more can I say?
The talent - amazing! Kelly Auty, how cool!!!
Backsliders, Wolf Gang, Dutch Tilders - they rule!
The organisation... was just A plus...
For the venues, the bands.... as well as the bus.
All the entertainment, in the clubs and the bars,
Included great bands, like the Bondi Cigars.
There was Psycho Zydeco..... and Jimi Hocking,
So, the city of Goulburn was totally rocking!
Fatty & Skinny - oh what a pair!
The Redundant Outhouse Band - oh yeh!
Fiona Boyes, and her amazing guitar,
Ash Grunwald, Chris Wilson - they'll all go far.
So many to mention - and more in the park,
They started quite early, and played on till dark.
To the nice friendly staff, and the great volunteers,
We raise our glasses, and all say "cheers".
For the 8th year in a row, it's been real successful,
Even though your work has been so stressful.....
The weekend was great - it was real neat,
