Thank you for your interest in the Australian Blues Music Festival.

Applications are accepted year-round with primary selection for the upcoming Festival happening in July and August each year.

Download the application form by clicking 'Download file' below. This may be returned to the Festival Office with a demo CD and band bio by posting to: Locked Bag 22, Goulburn NSW 2580.

Your application will be processed here and then reviewed by the Selection Panel. You will receive notice of confirmation that your application has been received and we will contact you if/when we are interested in booking your act.

As there are a limited number of acts who can be booked in any given year and the Festival Office receives hundreds of applications, there are always many disappointed acts. Please be assured that we do go over all previous applicants, and some acts are booked several years after sending their initial application.

Selection is based on a variety of criteria including originality, relevance, level of professionalism, programming compatibility with the available venues/performance areas and of course fee expectations.

Once you have submitted an application, it is not necessary to re-apply every year. Your information is kept on file for future reference, but please feel free to update your information at any time.

Previously booked acts please note:
As an established act, and one who has performed with us before, it is not necessary to re-apply (do though be sure to let us know when your details have changed). You will automatically be considered as part of the pool of 'known' Australian blues talent.

International acts please note:
As 'The National Festival of Australian Blues Music' showcasing Australian talent, we are generally not interested in booking overseas acts.
