Lightning Jack (WA)

'Lightning Jack' is multi-instrumentalist Jack Ceriani.

Primed with his steel resonator guitar and lap steel, Jack combines finger picking, slide, and foot percussion to deliver a rhythmic percussive sound which is very much his own. He creates a blend of blues, roots, rock and reggae which draws attention from all ages and has been very popular on the West Australian festival scene.

Jack lists a few of his many influences as Tom Waits, Jeff Lang, Hatz Fitz, Jim McLelland and Ori Rossi.

Jack has just finished recording his debut EP 'The Road Begins' which includes accompaniments on double bass by Gavin Shoesmith (early John Butler Trio) currently 'The Groovesmiths' and Angus Diggs on drums ( Mia Dyson, Jeff Lang).

Lightning Jack will feature at the 2008 Australian Blues Music Festival as part of this year's showcase of West Coast talent brought to you by the West Coast Blues Club. He will be accompanied by special guest Michael Burley on harmonica.

You'll be truly impressed by the awesome talent of this young man who displays musical ability way beyond his 16 years.
