Becoming a Volunteer

Becoming a Volunteer

You do not have to be a local to be a volunteer!

There are various Volunteer positions available for the 2009 Australian Blues Music Festival. These include:
* Checking wristbands at Venues
* Working in the Festival Office/Sales
* General Helper/Runner
* Master of Ceremonies (MC)
* Driving the Performer Shuttle

Have a serious think about your interests and what you think you would be good at, but leave your options open, as there are lots of positions to be filled over the four days.

To make it fair on everyone, all volunteers will be required to work a morning, afternoon and late shift.

Please be sure to fill out the application form with all the details of your availability for the weekend of the 12th-15th February 2009.

Lock those dates into your diary because it is definitely a weekend that shouldn't be missed.

Without volunteers, the Australian Blues Music Festival wouldn't be the successful event it has grown to become. It is you the volunteer that helps to keep the ship afloat.

In order to carry out your volunteering responsibilities you will provided with a Festival pass giving you access to all ticketed venues and performances in order to undertake familiarisations, research and other volunteer duties.

This is a weekend you won't forget in a hurry. You'll make new friends and rekindle annual blues friendships.
